Dr. Astik Joshi is a globally renowned and respected child & adolescent psychiatrist with extensive clinical, academic, and leadership experience in mental health care systems of both India and the United States.

Dr Astik Joshi's training & qualifications include General Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry. During his specialty and superspecialty trainings, he was awarded four consecutive scholarships for his clinical and academic performance.

Dr. Joshi served as an assistant professor in the Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas, from 2019 to 2024, where he worked in various leadership positions.

During this tenure, he contributed to multiple clinical and educational initiatives, including: Pediatric Psychiatry Consultation Service, Medical Psychiatry Consultation Service, Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN,) Medical Director of the Behavioral Health Unit at University Medical Center and Covenant Children's Hospital, Lubbock, Texas. His additional leadership roles included his work in the division of Psychiatry & the Law at a Texas State Prison Facility.
